Stathax
Hello, everybody! This is my second post at this forum. My name is Stathis and I come from Greece. I am building Hellenic Air Force planes, mainly, in 1/48 scale. So, I decided to show you one of my models, which is not complete yet. As the title says, it's an F-16D Block 52+ of 340 Squadron ''Fox'', of 115FW, based at Souda, in the island of Crete. The kit is from Kinetic, the one with the Polish markings. I built it straight from the box, with the only addition of Eduard's photo-etched for the cockpit. I used the kit's stencils for the plane, bombs and missiles and I got the markings from Hasegawa's F-16D #9906. I don't remember all the paints that I used. I only remember that I used Humbrol enamels with some silver in each paint to try to simulate the ''Have Glass'' paint, or how it is called. The AN/AAQ-13 and AN/AAQ-14 navigation and targeting pods were donated by a friend. I don't know which kit he took them from. A little work is left to get it finished. neu
Thanks neu! Why do you call it like that? :wave:/> Because it looks so robust :D We've done a print of almost exactly this jet, but I couldn't manage to find contacts to the unit for some more info. I really like how the Hellenic Vipers are looking like!

I really like how the Hellenic Vipers are looking like! The Hellenic Vipers have a really nice camo. It's my favorite camo, along with two camo schemes of Alaska's USAF Falcons. The one with black-white-grey and the other with blue-grey-light blue colours. I put on some dirt to my Falcon using dark brown and black chalk pastels. It's the first time that I used pastels. Some minor mistakes are corrected!
