nzsabredogfan
Hi all, about to start on a Tamiya F16C kit just picked up locally in NZ. Checking out the kit decals, and like the look of the 188th FW Flying Razorbacks Block 32, especially after reading some of this units history on webb. I was wondering if the kits decals and red tail could be used for when they operated in Southern Watch or OIF? Or is this marking scheme specially used just before they became an A-10 unit? Many thanks Cheers Steve
jmel
No, they added the red tail early in '06. It was retained until the jets were transferred to the California ANG. Although this particular jet flew many combat missions, it did so prior to receiving the red tail. Jake
