davevw
Can anyone help me with mixing a little Grey violet for my Me 109? I have lots of different greys but no pink or purple, can anyone help? Thanks, Dave
Jennings
Try a few drops (at a time) of red. See what you get. Then add a few drops of blue. Be aware that there is no FS595 color that's remotely close to RLM 74 or 75.
toadwbg
Here's some Tamiya reccomendations that are pretty decent: RLM 74:- XF24:3 + XF27:2 RLM 75:- XF24:5 + XF50:1 RLM 76:- XF2:7 + XF23:1 +
David Rapasi
For RLM 75 Grauviolett I use Model Masters Enamel 2085, the same color is available in MM Acrylic 4785. MM 2085 is a close match to Don Color chip for RLM 75. Dave Edited February 4, 2013 by David Rapasi

Thanks, Dave If you don't mind using lacquer paints, both Mr. Color #37 RLM 75 and #36 RLM 74 are very good matches for my references. Pip

Pip I agree that Mr Color are awsome matches and quality paints, but not good if u want to stay acrylic (low fumes, easy cleanup). Thus, go with the Mr Hobby (Gunze Aqueous) equivalent. You can order thru Luckymodel. H68 and H69. These airbrush as good as Tamiya and are actually compatible for mixing and solvents.
