Tamiya 1/48 F16C update set would it be needed for 188th FW block 32?

You can also check out the instructions for each kit on Tamiya's website. They each have a page describing what plates go where. Also, Voyager's set is way cheaper than Tamiya's.

The plates where introduced to counter cracks that apppeared in the various blocks of F-16's during use. As each block of Viper has different spec's, you will find only 2 on the back and 2 on the wings of Block 30/32, while the Block 40/42 have 10. Block 50/52 and beyound have the strengtheners buildt into the body, hence non you will see externally.

Block 5/10/15 also are equipped with these, mostly in the same style as the Block 40/42, although some Belgian AF Vipers appear to have only 2
