Greenghost
Hi, Is there any model of the HMS Campbeltown or any other of her class in 1/700? Multimedia kits are ok. Thanks S.

hobbymyster
Yes, Revell makes one in 1/240 scale. I actually have one currently listed on eBay, under hobbymyster529 I hope this was helpful. Ivan

Ivan The Revell kit doesn't represent the modified "Campbeltown" as she was at the time of the raid. The kit is of a stock "four piper" in WWII trim. There was a lot of cosmetic work done to her to make her look like a German torpedo boat for operation "Chariot". There's an "Anatomy of the Ship" book that shows all the changes. I'm pretty sure I saw an article somewhere showing the conversion, maybe Fine Scale Modeler? Iron Shipwrights has a kit in 1/350th that includes the changes. It's resin and kind of pricy. Iron Shipwrights Scroll down to "FOREIGN DESTROYERS, FRIGATES, CORVETTES" and look for: 4-090 350 HMS Campbelltown St. Nazaire Raid
Greenghost
Hi, Thank you for all your comments, I didn't know about the modification but already got the Anatomy of Ship book for the HMS Campbeltown and looking forward to complete the model representing the ship at the time of the raid at St Nazaire. Greenghost
After comparing with Anatomy of the book drawings, this model represents the HMS Campbeltown as modified for the St Nazaire raid.
