Work on tires... 1st step : masking The whole family : Then paint for the second step : white before Gold : Unmasking : A bit "flashy", so a light weathering is done : Finally just have to install on the finished rims: Hope you still like it... SBARC
WOW....this one is coming along quite nicely.
pg265
Hi, Thank you very much for the comment SBARC! Still working on the 312PB! It's now time to work on the front brakes air ducts. Original parts : Opening : Enlarging : for this preliminary result : Now time to put the part upside down... Grrrrr! Bi-component : Still need to re-open the air duct : the 2 sisters! : Pascal
pg265
Today Part 2 While the air ducts are drying, I have to work on the rear lights: - First part in "white metal" : Closed with another one made of clear resin : All is semi gloss black except the red and orange lights. Well..., a long post for poor progress. ... that must be done!! More soon!! Pascal
pg265
Well, as nothing was dry, I decided to work on the opposite side of the Ferrari : The gearbox cooler! I modified the MFH fittings by cutting the radiator pins and making a 0.75 hole to fit the tube I wanted to use. Then, thanks to the pictures I have, I modified the end of the gearbox and install modified machined/anodized A/N fittings from RBMotion. Connected : Sorry for the poor quality pics... More soon I hope !! Pascal
pg265
Hi, Small progress again for today, but needed! Few touch up paint job before the 2K. Some Rosso Corsa ZP, cellulose thinner, small nozzle and go ... but not without masking! ...Mask on: Yellow on yellow : Touch up done : Mask off : ... And finally, a picture less rotten than others to the rear of the car. The lights are just laid for the purposes of the photo, which explains the misalignment and lack of electrical wiring: As usual, do not hesitate if you have questions and / or comments. I will try to answer my best! Pascal
