And on the shelf with some other Corsairs, including a real Canadian Corsair, X/115, as well as a P-39 hiding in the background.

CF-110J circa 1964 with 425 squadron. In what I figured might be a realistic paint job. Or at least meets with the norms of the day.

DSC_0149-4.jpg

425 switched from these CF-100 Canucks straight into CF-110s instead of some of the other interceptor squadrons that got CF-101s.

Like 410 squadron received......

The Japanese TSR2 is done. I used some nose art decals from the 501 Recon Squdron that came with an RF-4 kit. All the other decals came from my spares box.

The build thread is here Build

One that might happen, just not a well built model. CF-18E (Revell putty hog series) Leading Edge decals and Hasegawa provided the wing tanks.

This one is going on a bottom shelf.

2 day build. Painted all the parts a couple days ago. All with tamiya spray bombs. Camel yellow, black, and silver leaf. Put the decals on and assembled and hand painted everything else today. Total build time maybe 6 hours.

Kit is a Heller 1/24 Honda NSR 500

Decals are Tabu Camel decals for a 1/24 RC211V

So I call this...

Honda NSR 500 "Camel Test"

Looking at pics I still need to paint the foot pegs black but otherwise it's done. No numbers or anything so that why im calling it a test bike.

No weapons, a fin or 4 missing, various antenna missing (some not in the box to start with!) some rough masking and interesting thoughts. The other 4 photographs are in the Build thread.

:)/>

Pilot pinched from the Airfix Harrier kit? Cos my daughter wanted a person in it. :)/>

Oh yes... this plane is on skis. Why? Because according to afformentioned daughter, the lower missle launcher rails look like skis :)/>

Does it need a winter pattern now then? EEK!
