Welcome to the Phantom Additics Anonymous Group Build! Let us know what you plan to build here?

I would start off first, but haven't decided what I am going to build yet. I have a started Hasegawa F-4EJ that I might resume work on again or I have several Esci 1/48 F-4C/D kits that I might start and do a basic build on. Haven't decided yet.

Hi everyone,

My name is Ron, and I'm a Phantom Addict.

It has been 8 hours since I fondled one of my F-4 kits.

I will be building the Hasegawa 1/48 F-4G Wild Weasel kit dressed in tantalizing Afterburner Decals 3rd TFW markings, living off the fantastic childhood F-4 memories growing up on Clark AB in the 1970's.

I think there's an embroidered Spook strait jacket with Phantoms name on it!

V/r

Ron

Well, definitely in the queue for me are:

Fujimi Phantom FG.1, Royal Navy 892 Sqn (Silver Jubilee scheme) (OOB)

Fujimi Phantom FGR.2, Royal Air Force 23 Sqn (RAF Stanley) (I did get the Modeldecal set for this scheme, but I'll probably use the kit decals - they look nicer).

Possibly a third one eventually, too, but don't know what - maybe an RAAF F-4E, maybe something USN...

Hey, hey, hey dont blame me.....everyone on this forum knows if you gonna do it wrong, have Jim do it for you! Thanks again for the sacrifice...LOL!! Also, pictures of your bench or stealth aircraft does not qualify your start....LOL!!!

I will be building something seeing that after working on my Academy kit, I am hooked.....maybe a MIG killer or Candy Cane....

If I am so inclined to be in the elite group, might actuallu build a JR -J.....

Can't wait till March 1st.

Oh and as things sprogress, I might even start another Phantom, will let you know in time.

Harald, another Phantom addict....

I would give my left afterburner to have a nice clean building space like that!

I will be building a 1/48 Hasegawa F-4G with a Blackbox cockpit set, some Eduard PE, and maybe some aftermarket wheels and exhausts. Decals will come from an Xtradecal sheet, and it will be a grey one from the 480th TFS based at Spangdahlem in the late 1980's. If I have the time, I might do a 1/72 kit after that, not sure what yet.

I'm thinking either an RAF Phantom FGR.2 with RAF Germany, or a Luftwaffe F-4F in the Norm 72 scheme, if I can ever find the appropriate acrylic colors for it. I thought Model Master did them, but apparently not? Either of these would be in the gentleman's scale.

Hi Everyone,

I'll be joining in with the 1:72 Hasegawa F-4B/N/J Phantom II VF-84 Jolly Rogers kit #HAS01966. This is one of Hasegawa's 2 kit boxings and I will be building them OOB one at a time in seperate threads. First up will be:

F-4N: U.S. Navy U.S.S. Roosevelt VF-84 "Jolly Rogers" CAG, Code: AE200, 1974 mostly because I have not decide yet what the second Phantom will be.

If I am able to get an Academy F-4B while the GB is still active I will add that in as well.

Denis

My name is Daniel, and I'm a Phantom addict. This is also my first group build. I'm going with Hasegawa's 1/48 F-4G. Not sure which squadron yet, but it'll be a gray Desert Storm bird for sure. I have my Aires cockpit, still waiting for my Aires exhausts to come in.

Oh boy! I'm no addict and I've never built a Phantom and I have 2 Hasegawa EJ Kai kits. I think I'll do those...and that new Academy kit is beckoning pretty loudly....

I know I want to do one as a Jolly Rogers and perhaps a Sundowners. But I've always been attracted to the JASDF blue schemes....
