DPD1
Obviously not an actual helicopter, but maybe some of you guys will like it. I did this last year.
DPD1
Also did this 160th H-60 Pilot a while back. I plan to also do a back-end guy.
hawkwrench
Wow! Those are really cool! Are those the figures you can buy all kinds of accessories for of the 160tj SOAR? I know that question is vague, but I can't think of the name of the company right now. I do know those figures can get quite expensive though if its the ones I'm thinking of. EDWMatt
Those are some mean looking dudes! Excellent figures. Very realistic looking. Thanks for sharing!
hawkwrench
Here we go, is this the figure base you started with?: I wish someone would make this in 1/35 scale---somebody like Live resin maybe!
DPD1
Thanks guys. Yes, Soldier Story is probably the top maker of 1/6 sets. They made that 160th set a couple years back. It was about $115 at the time. There might be a few still floating around out there. It includes enough stuff to make any kind of crewman. I made the Blackwater guy from scratch, using parts I had from other sets and extra stuff I found. There's stores online that break up sets and sell the individual parts. hawkwrench
Someone needs to scratchbuild a 1/6 scale MH-60 cockpit now to pose these guys in!
DPD1
There's actually been a few people that have done it. I know they've definitely done H-6s. I think I posted one here a while back.
hawkwrench
Got a pic of it?
K5054NZ
That's some fantastic detail! I like the idea of a 1/6 H-6, even if it's just a cockpit.
Rotorman
I believe there is an Little Bird in 1/6 scale. With some work it can be made into a cool replica. It was a toy I cant remember who made it. Oliver Edited March 9, 2013 by Rotorman
DPD1
Yeah, there were a couple put out over the years for GI Joe and stuff, which guys have detailed.
