The SH is much finer in detail, but less accurate in shape than the Hobbycraft. The HC at least has the correct wing location, the SH's wing is noticeably too far to the rear. That said, the HC kit is very basic in detail and really could benefit from a replacement canopy while the detail on the SH kit is just lovely. Your best option for an XV remains kitbashing the Airfix Spitfire XII and Seafire XVII. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
