Bigasshammm
Finally finished with this one. It was a boxing match all the way. The kit is pretty simplistic with decent detail. I modified how the front suspension went together to eliminate a few seems. Otherwise it's straight oob. They're designed to be motorized so there is nothing in the engine area except a gaping hole. I used Indycals decals for it which included full blue decals. They are downsized from the Tamiya 1/20 kit so the fit isn't 100% but it's definitely good enough and their quality and price cannot be met. Paint was Tamiya spray bombs and all the gloss black and suspension bits were brush painted after my compressor died. I spent about 4 hours yesterday cutting up some of the red decals from a McLaren MP4/7 to create Piquet's helmet. There's no less than 20 different bits of decal on his helmet. I still got the top tear drop a little wrong but I didn't find a good picture till after I was done. Oh well I'm happy with it.
Bigasshammm
Once the sun gets high enough I may try n get some outside pics. It's definitely not a contest model but it'll look good tucked away in a case.
Bad Turbine
Looks good Mr Hamm, I remember those days with fondness. I miss the brute power of those old cars but, I think todays rides are so interesting to look at aerodynamically. I hope Williams has a good year.
