Boeing 747 -400 to 747 Dreamlifter Conversion

An old Revell 747-400 i have had for quite a few years so i decided to start to convert it to the 747 Dreamlifter

I am using 2" PVC pipe to make up the upper area

Hello.

very cool i looked for longer time to find any informations to can do this conversion.

I will make the dreamlifter including an loaded body from the dreamliner.if there is someone who has more detail and infos for convert a 747 into the dreamlifter, pls pm..

I have added these fins to the front and rear of the pipe to give me the shape of the front and rear end the extension pieces are to get the shape when i fill inbetween them

The front fins need sanding back a bit they are a little long

i added these extra bits onto the back so i can get the correct shape when filling

I went and bought some car Body filler to fill the main bit of the fueslage and it gives a nice smooth finish i still have some more filling to do yet

Since the last post i have done quite a lot of work to my model below are some pictures

tail already painted blue and now masked off for the white painting
