Kito
Hi All a bit more update on my Big "E" Hull got details, and next I will make a silicone mold later and new flight deck with recess deck pattern Elevator #2 and Beehive dome, #1 and #2 are close to the real one, I think frome the image I've found from internet and 1/350 model this is #1 with the Island
Kito
but I like #2 so I will develop on this one Jet Blast Sheild, I took the dragon 1/144 flight deck and will cast the resin later. Blast shields photo from USS Enterprise in detail and scale book, they are seem to be the same size but on the Tamiya model are different size so I assume they are the same and the dragon kit is provided details already :woot.gif:/>/> lucky me that it for today, thank you
Yuri61
Hi Kito, thanks for the update. It is coming along really great!! I agree with you and like beehive number 2 as it looks closer to the original. The hull is looking really nice and you have done a lot of work and it all looks wonderful. Great job so far and you have made much progress since the last update. So you will make a fibreglass mold for the hull and cast it up using normal fibreglassing techniques? Great Idea using some of the Dragon flightdeck blast deflectors in 1/144 scale and the flightdeck is really looking nice. Do you have the detail and scale book on the Enterprise? If there is anything I can help you with please send me a message. I can't wait to see more as you progress. Cheers. Kito
start with applying suface coat then fiberglass trim exceed fiberglass copare with the original one for the first fiberglass front hull, I was a littel bit mess up on the mixing ratio of surface coat and its hardener so it make some small bubles on the surface :bandhead2:/> the next one will be better :rolleyes:/>
