UKPonchoMan
Does anyone have any walkarounds for the 747, or can you advise any good reference books? I am working on the AIM E-4B in 1/72 but have been advised that the belly needs some reshaping... All help gratefully received! Chris

Vidar 710
Thanks Eduardo - that's a good start :)/> In addition to walk around references, is there anything out there that breaks down the flap system? My Internet search has come up with few shots that show little detail. PDF files from a systems/maintenance manual would be awesome! Tracy
carioca
Not an official doc, but I "thinK" (meaning "not too sure") I've seen a WIP report of a guy who flapped down a B747 model. As far as I can remember, it was a 1/72 scale KLM 747-200, it had lots of wiring, ducting and manifold details. Maybe googling it up would bring up something. regards Eduardo
UKPonchoMan
I'll have a dig around on Google - thanks :)
UKPonchoMan
Found it! http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/80595-aircraft-in-miniature-172nd-scale-boeing-747-300-klm/
carioca
Really nice build, but not the one I had in mind. It's also a KLM bird the guy built, but it had flaps and slats down and several improvements throughout the model. I'll keep looking and let you know if I find it Regards Eduardo
