A couple without the dio base. It`s a 1/48 Revell kit, base is from the old 1/72 airfix dambusters dio kit. Sorry for the piccie quality, it`s just a point and shoot. I did send them to 617, they were forwarded on and I`m awaiting a reply. I`ve also been told that a member of another forum has sent them to Marham as well. ross blackford Posted June 1, 2013 Share Posted June 1, 2013 :D, Well, Barnes Wallis had to make a personal representation to Sir Arthur Harris, then AOC Bomber Command before anyone really listened to him and it was Harris who said basically "I want that bomb as soon as I can have it." Perhaps, like Barnes Wallis you shouldn't give up. It took him months of badgering and pleading before someone suggested he go and see Harris personally and then he had to get Mutt Summers to go with him and introduce him to Harris.
