Trumpeter D-30 howitzer

Recommended Posts

There are two (early and late) versions of the Trumpeter D-30 howitzer. It seems that the bigeest differences can be found on the stand. Does anybody know, when production changed and which version might be the typical one used in the Neareast in the 1970s?

Thanks!

I'm not sure. I honestly don't know too much about them other than the basics, and they look kinda cool. I build the toy-like Skif kit a while back and then the "early" Trumpeter kit when it first came out. The Trumpeter is kit is pretty nice and goes together nicely. For what it's worth, the early kit gives a choice of two muzzle breaks with correspondlingly different towing pintles.
