Albert Moore
Howdy Gang- This is my take on the Revell 1932 Ford Sedan kit(excellent series of kits if I may say so). It was combined with the hood, grill, chassis, engine, rear tires, and bobbed rear fenders from the '32 Gearz Ford Rat Roaster kit. The front tires and steel wheel/dog dish hubcaps came from the 1932 Ford Five-window Coupe kit. The paint is Dupli-Color red oxide primer with a satin clear coat. Build details can be found in my Facebook build log- https://www.facebook...83606216&type=1 Fun with a background and photo effects- Thanks for looking! bullitt3980
That's a great build-I really like the Revell 32 Ford kits, I'm just finishing a 5 window. How did a Chev engine get in there? ;)
Albert Moore
Hi Bullitt Thanks for the kind comments on my Sedan. I know it's a bit of a fuax pas to put a Chevy engine in a Ford these days given the availability of the Flathead and parts for it, but I like the way this looked with those headers and blower. That and I didn't want to have to make new motor mounts to add a Ford engine. Contrary to what people say about the 1932 Rat Roaster kit being based on the older 1932 Ford line of kits- that kit is a completely new-tool kit through out, thus the parts for the older 1932 Ford kits won't drop right in without tweaking the parts to fit. Thanks again! Cheers, Alby
