NIMITZ color help

Thinking about working on my trumpy Nimitz again and have a couple color questions. What color are the non flight decks as in around the island and such painted? What color are the hangar deck walls some photos look white some look light gray?

Hey Viper! The color of the walkways on the island are a different grey than the flight deck. Here are the colors I used on my Nimitz after extensive research:

Flight deck=Tamiya German Grey

Hull= Model Master Neutral Grey

Walkways/Island=Model Master Gunship Grey

Hangar bay walls=White

Hangar bay lower wall=Model Master Gunship Grey.

Modern (post-WW2) USN (all color references are in White Ensign Models Colourcoats enamels, accurately matched to original specs):

All vertical surfaces—Haze Gray (M 03);

Decks—Deck Gray (M 04);

Flight Decks—Flight Deck Gray (M 05);

Underwater Hulls—Antifouling Red (M 06);

Boot-topping—Black (C 02).
