jimmy07
Truly incredible! To think how many 'home videos' were taken during WW2 that might be hidden away in someones old storage shed right now.
boscosticks
His eyes, when you see him watch the crash footage, gave me goosebumps. The entire interview was done with such humility. Thank you for sharing this. LTCOL J.S. Blyth
billw
What a wonderful thing to do for this veteran pilot. I can only imagine what it must have meant to him. Thanks for posting this. BW
Flyingfortress
How freakin' cooollll!!!!! Now, who's gonna build him a model of his Spit?
Av8fan
Here is an article by Tony Bell: MKXI Yes, someone should build this kit for this man. Great idea Flyingfortress.
Flyingfortress
If someone does indeed care to honor him with a model of his SPIT, drop me a PM, I have an idea. I'd build one myself, but I have plenty of others waiting for their models.
J.C. Bahr
I already did my own a long time back! :D http://www.arcair.com/Gal4/3401-3500/gal3472-Spitfire-Bahr/00.shtm Was so cool to find out more about this plane when this video first started making the internet rounds. Very neat story!
SBARC
WOW!!! That was so cool to watch. I have coffee each Tuesday with 4 guy just like him. One was a destroyer Captain. Another was with an Artillery Unit in Korea etc.
SBARC
JC, I rebuilt your article and added the video to the bottom of your article.
uscusn
Mike, that video, the story, the history, and the bravery of those recon pilots. Alone unarmed and so humble. They knew their job, did it without fail, thank God for those men who did those missions. That moment when he realizes that is the video he has never seen before but was aware of its existence and to finally see it after all those years is a Life Moment. And he is still sharp filling in the blanks of those individual achievements that took place during WWII. Thanks for sharing that Mike. I really enjoyed it. J.C. Bahr
JC, I rebuilt your article and added the video to the bottom of your article. Cool! Neat idea Steve! (BTW - you transposed the "i" and the "f"... it says "Spitifre") Thanks. Edited June 20, 2013 by J.C. Bahr
