Barneydhc82
In 1981 I was helping my then brother-in-law, with west coast sales of a 1:100 scale series of airliners in vartious Canadian liveries..including the Orange Boeing 737. It was a good idea but other things got in the way. Last year a gentleman that I had met at Boundary Bay helped me with the finish of the 1:32 scale Tamiya Mustang and in repayment for his help, I am working on this model, an aircraft that he had flown and with 23000 hrs on type, he loved the aircraft. I still have to add the landing gear in the next few days Barney
streetstream
Looking very nice. What kit and scale is it?
Bonanza27
That's the way an airliner should look! Sure miss the old CP Air, Pacific Western, Transair etc! Great job and great looking classic!
Barneydhc82
Thanks guys. The kit is the old M&B 1:100 scale out of Montreal. I still have a DC-9 Air Canada, B737 PWA and a Nordair 737. The decals are over 30 years old and are still great to work with. Barney
TheFlyingDutchman
That looks very neat. Great finish so far! I don't know if it bothers you but you might want to recheck your cockpit window. It looks like the windows are too high, the whole appearance should be narrower. Also the eyebrow windows are missing. Just a small detail on a great build :) BTW what bare metal finish did you use? Alclad paint? Edited June 20, 2013 by TheFlyingDutchman
