RKic
Here are a few pictures of my Tamiya JS-2 built to represent a tank from a Polish armored unit fighting in Berlin during the last days of WW II. The model is built largely out of the box, I just replaced the plastic grab handles with lengths of thin brass rod. I lost the rear machine gun, but as the guns were removable, I'll just pretend it was loaned to an infantry unit :ha:  The model was very simple to build and I built it with wheels/tools and all prior to painting. Paint is a mixture of heaven only knows what. I think it is largely Tamiya and Vallejo for the base coats, yellow ochre, raw umber, white, black, and maybe other oil colors used for washes, filters, and other weathering effects, ground pencil graphite for the steel portions of the tracks, and various shades of brown and pale brown pastels for the dirt on the tracks. Nothing fancy, just run of the mill armor modeling tricks and techniques. D'Oh! I just realized I forgot to secure the other end of the tow cable. Will need to finagle something.
