Mikey and Pauli's Most Excellent Adventures Pt. 1

Recommended Posts

Back on June 21 myself and Mike Witous began our great L.A. area brick and mortar LHS tour. Part 1 covered 4 stores, lunch at the beach and a drive through of the parking lot where the USS Iowa is moored. Click the link below then click where it says "97 photo's" then enjoy. Part 2 is in the planning stage.

Paul, that is an awesome photo set. I like how you've gone around with the camera and gave us an idea of what the model shops are like around your area. If only more bloggers would do that sort of thing.

Come to think of it, I should do that for some of the hobby shops around Lower Mainland neck of the woods. :)

Thanks for posting those photo's. I thought that all those types of hobby shops disappeared in the 90's. I wish that there were stores like that around here. Its probably just as well that there aren't though. I could see myself spending hours and $$$$$$ in there. There is a HobbyTown here but it is 80% radio control. When it first opened a couple of years ago there was three isles of kits, it is now down to one and a half very sparsely stocked isles.
