Cstone72
I bought an Airfix 1/48 Scale F6 electric lightning from my local hobby shop a few months back. It took ma a wile to decide what paint and squad markings I would use, when I remembered I traded a 1/48 scale decal set for a F4 jolly Rodgers a year back and decided to use them. I know this plane was never intended for carrier use but why is there a tail hook on it? well I thought it would be cool to see. some of the pictures are not very good ill retake them soon. ,,,,

Tsubame
I've never been one for what-ifs but that is stunning! Kinda reminds me of the US Marines VMFA-531 F-4B Phantom II that was onboard the HMS Ark Royal and had to be hastily repainted in Royal Navy 892 Squadron F-4K colours when the Ark Royal docked in Malta in 1973 at a time when USA and Malta weren't on speaking terms. How about an F-14D in Royal Air Force colours cos they were actually considered for purchase until they bought the Tornado IDS instead?
