catfan
ok so since it is getting hard to find the monogram/revell F-5e jets in 1/48 scale i know AFV club still makes them but which kit that they make now would work to build a F-5e like do they all have the same parts? Jennings
Have you tried eBay? The Monogram F-5E is far from rare or hard to find. I'm not really sure what exactly you're asking in that whopper of a sentence. The AFV kit is an F-5E (I believe the F is also out). AFAIK any kit marked "F-5E" on the box will let you build an F-5E. Paolo Maglio
there are several variants all named F-5E: some have Platypus nose and larger LERX (Swiss AF), some have a dorsal spyne (Morocco and Mexico) some have refuelling probe (Singapore), etc... Each AFV club box come with different parts, so, before buying one, you better to choose the variant (and colour scheme) you want to buy.

Paolo Maglio
well, if you are going to build all that stuff you will have no problem if you buy 3-4 boxes to start with and mix the parts as needed. Boxes you need to buy are: 1/48 F-5E Swiss Air Force / Austrian Air Force 1/48 F-5E Tiger II ROCAF 46th TFS Aggressor 1/48 Northrop F-5E Tiger II USAF 1/48 F-5E/F-5N VFC-111 Sundowners

Glynyrd
If you're still interested in the Revell F-5, they re-released it late last year, got mine from Hobby Lobby.
