poibrudda05
Aloha everyone!!!! So I've got my Tamiya 1/48th scale F-16C (the Thunderbirds one) out and was looking at what it would take to convert it to a Block 60 variant. I noticed that Wolfpack Designs has an update set for the Hasegawa's F-16E variant complete with a new nose and thought to myself "well that must be a huge chunk of that conversion just sitting there". However here's my question. Does anyone know if the cross section between the Hasegawa's nose and Tamiya's nose close enough so that I could mate them both? Another words can I take the resin nose from the Wolfpack kit and mate it to the Tamiya fuselage with not that much cleaning up. If you got ideas I'd love to hear them! Mahalo in advance!!! Dave Williams
Does the Tamiya Thunderbirds kit have the GE exhaust and big mouth intake in the box? You'll need both for the Block 60. I thought the Tbirds kit was a Block 32 or 52, both of which use the P&W exhaust and the smaller NSI intake.
Fly-n-hi
The T-birds boxing only has the PW engine. The Aggressor boxing has both.
poibrudda05
Thank you both for the info. Do you happen to know if, lets say, Aires or CMK makes these items sold separately?
