galileo1
Best paint job I've seen. Truly a masterful job! Rob
dsahling
Nice wok on the weathering, its not easy to replicate such a weathered aircraft as this one. I still wish I could find a reference photo showing the top with all the camo, anybody work for the DoD or NSA have access to any satellite photos of it? :-) Also, I thought I'd include the link from when I did this one last year for fun! http://s362974870.onlinehome.us/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=256908&st=0&p=2436937&fromsearch=1entry2436937
Jinxter13
:jaw-dropping: [This] is one of the most masterful jobs of weathering and painting I have seen in this or many other fora, simply superb. The accuracy of replication of the real item is to be admired and lauded by all who view this build in photos or up/close and personal; the rest of the build speaks for itself. :worship:
JesniF-16
Really spectacular work Rom :thumbsup:/> I am utterly amazed by the weathering and the fact that this is a makeover build!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 /Jesse
rom
Thank you very much guys!! As for the camouflage on the top surface, i couldnt find any pictures of any aircraft showing the pattern as seen in Linden Hill instructions. I saw pictures of other aircraft from the same (?) squadron. They carry the "standard" camo scheme. I plan to build the red 01 " cobra" in 48th scale. Thanks again Rom
