ex-USMC_Hornet_WSO
Can anyone tell me how best to repair those jagged scars in a coat of paint left by lifting masking tape (apart from stripping the model and starting over)? Yes, I'm using MM Acryl unfortunately.
Flemming Hansen
Hi Try to sand the edges of the remaining paint to get as fine a transition between paint and bare plastic and then use airbush to build up colour again. The most likely scenario though will be that the paint will curl up under the sandpaper rather than getting sanded. The sanding process will probably remove paint rather than sanding it. That will set you back to square one I'm afraid. Flemming

Netz
Sand it with a paper towel, or go with 000 Steel wool, go easy as it will remove paint, but it surly will smooth it out. Curt
