nimrod77
Hi all, I've been looking back at my nose for the Blackbird that I've been building and I'm not 100% happy with the RWR bumps I've tried. I'm wondering if anyone has any directly side on, and directly above shots of the front of the nose of the SR-71? I'm not sure but I think that the is a raised section beside the RWR antennas. If anyone can help me out, that would be great.

Piker38
Not exactly the angles you asked for, but these images are the best I've found to illustrate the shape of the forward chine-mounted ECM bumps... http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Air/Lockheed-SR-71A-Blackbird/1328972/L/&sid=9c0710590055d760d08b87263805fa54 http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Air/Lockheed-SR-71A-Blackbird/1821079/L/&sid=9c0710590055d760d08b87263805fa54 http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Air/Lockheed-SR-71A-Blackbird/1865400/L/&sid=9c0710590055d760d08b87263805fa54 Beware that the 'chin' of the aircraft slightly impinges on the outline of the port fairing on the first image, but you can clearly see where the fairings start on the starboard one. Hope these links are OK. Best regards Keith
