Pete
Repost here, since the previous one went to lala-land after the great ARC meltdown. I'm building the 1/72 Revell Breguet Atlantic, and plan to do 41-01 of the Italian AF in low viz colors, like here. Work started with the weapons bay. I haven't decided yet if I will do it with doors open or closed, but painted it anyway: After that, I moved on to the cockpit. It's not super detailed, but overall, I think Revell did a nice job here. I'm not quite done with it yet, here's how it looks now: Already started putting various sub-assemblies in the fuselage. That space between the cockpit and the weapons bay is perfect for chunks of lead, as this model needs lots of noseweight. More soon...
bashace
Interesting subject, don't think I've ever seen a completed model of one before. V/r Ron
Pete
Yeah, I've seen one or two over the years, but it doesn't seem like a populair kit to build. There's a guy over on BM making a highly detailed one, check it out. Edited October 3, 2013 by Pete

jgrease
Nice! I've been considering one of these but the wingspan is putting me off. As is the Nimrod I've been looking at in the stash for a while.
Pete
Well, you could do an Orion. Much shorter wings on those. :)
Pete
Sadly, this one is back in its box. I really wanted to do a low viz Italian one, but the decalsheet I need for that is impossible to find. Hopefully I will find it one day and finish it.
