Starfighter84
Good evening to all! I'm glad to present my last work... an F/A-18 C of VFA-87 during the Operation Iraqi Freedom. Finn
Great looking Hornet, the problem i see is the JDAM is too far forward, it should be like in this pic: Jari Edited September 29, 2013 by Finn
Starfighter84
Great looking Hornet, the problem i see is the JDAM is too far forward, it should be like in this pic: Jari Thank you Jari. I take as reference the image published on page 156 (below right) of the DACO. I aligned the JDAM by the rear ending point of the pylon as seen in the image. I have no idea... I can only say that the Hasegawa bomb is oversized by lenght.
Finn
I don't have the DACO book but there are various sizes of JDAMs, here is a 1000lb JDAM: http://imagery.vnfawing.com/archive/Weapons/JDAM/p0567089.jpg and here is the 2000lb JDAM: http://www.thenorthspin.com/photos_official_navy_fighters/59.jpg Jari

chuck540z3
Very nice build and I really like the weathering. Only critique I have is that the yellow ladder marking on the anti-skid surface of the LEX is too far back. It should be directly over the ladder- for obvious reasons: Again, great build. Brutus
Absolutely beautiful. I like the weathering on it. How did you get the dirt done on those external tanks?
