bdt13
Spectre- Nice choice of markings! I have this sheet myself, and may do the same bird someday.
Spectre711
I wanted something different and as soon as I had seen it I knew that was it. Did a bunch over the last few days. Of couse as I look back at this post I remembered that I didint add any weight to the nose. Edited October 14, 2013 by Spectre711
Sebastijan
How do you plan to deal with the nose weight issue. IIRC it requires quite some weight
Spectre711
I'll have to cut open the fuselage where the wings go and add some weight. I'm not sure how much but the Tamiya 1/48 I built a while back used a lot of weight. Oddly enough the Academy A-37 says how much weight to add where the A-10 does not. phasephantomphixer
Heck yes, great sheet I agree. Possible you could send some shot or bearings down from the engine opening with craft glue?
Spectre711
So I cut out the fuselage where the wings go and added a weight. I then glued everything back together.
Sebastijan
Great idea to fix the problem! It would be much harder if you'd already glued the wings to it, though...
TaiidanTomcat
Very clever!
Spectre711
it's not much but it's progress. I got some gray paint on and started with the bombs. I doubt I'm going to finish in time but will keep on it.
