Grey Ghost 531
A non-modeling friend of mine asked me a question about this engine. He's wondering why the left and right banks of cylinders have different strokes. The stroke is 180 mm on the left bank and 186 mm on the right. Does anyone know? dekon70
The connecting rod is like the type in a radial engine. It has a master rod and an articulated rod. This link will explain it better than I can: http://www.allworldwars.com/T-34%20Tank%20Service%20Manual.html Scroll down to the cut away of the engine. Hope this helps.
