Zero Enna
I know that there's some of them around, I want to build either an F.3 or an F.6. I don't care about details or panel lines, only shape issues, the rest can be easily fixed with scratchbuild and a good scriber. Thanks a lot in advance. Best regards. José. barkin mad
Short answer is that none of them out there are magnificent. All have "issues" in one way or another. If you can wait Airfix, are issuing an F2 new tool soon. Which should be accurate & is probably convertable into an F6 You have the Hasegawa/Revell one shape wise is not bad IMO. A bit light on detail. Trumpeter is probably your best bet if you can't wait. It has issues around the jet pipes & the fuselage tank I think. Airfix also did a much older F3 & Matchbox have issued both F6 & 2 seat versions. --------------------------------
Darth Vader
Probably the best in shape is the Matchbox but the tank is a bit narrow. Wait till the new Airfix one comes out later this year.
Zero Enna
So Airfix is reducing their 1/48... Better I wait. Thanks for your replies. Best regards. José.
Julien (UK)
The Airfix one will not be a reduction of the 1.48th but a completely new tool aircraft. Julien
