HOLMES
Thats bad news although not really the place but the guy who wrote this should have been re read by his boss ive never seen a crashed plane fly before It's simply a grammatical error.. English may not be their first language.. He should have said" that the aircraft/plane that crashed had been seen close to the mountain face(insert description) prior to the impact " or something like that.. <_< What matters is that two people may be killed. polybebber
Thats bad news although not really the place but the guy who wrote this should have been re read by his boss ive never seen a crashed plane fly before Your concern about English grammar in this context is kind of strange. Choose the correct one: A: Ich habe keine Ahnung wo in Europa die Schweiz liegt or B: Ich habe keine Ahnung wo in Europa der Schweiz liegt Get me? Just my thoughts. Jinxter13
I'm hoping they find that the crew exited the aircraft via the silk elevator, and are trying to make their way back to where folks are. That is what I'll be praying for. Thats bad news although not really the place but the guy who wrote this should have been re read by his boss ive never seen a crashed plane fly before The way I read that statement is that the plane flew into the mountain face, causing the crash....the cause was placed after the result of what happened. Sad day for those involved, add the two fatalities in the TF-51 Mustang crash in Texas its a bad day for aviation. My thoughts are with the family and friends of those involved in both incidents at this difficult time.

Add the 10 Belgian parachutists and their pilot who died last Saturday when a wing came off the Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter they were in, and it's been a sad week.
