Jinxter13
Based on experience gained by actual usage or a live demo; how would you rate the listed liquid glue products. This thread just may help someone starting out or returning after a long hiatus. I used a lot of those, but feel many vets here have more experience and could give a better opinion which will be more informative. TIA for your cooperation :)
White Wolf
I use Tamiya Limonene as a general purpose glue, Tamiya Extra Thin for hard-to-reach areas and when I need to fill a seam line.
sharkmouth
I only keep a 'few' in stock. Simply becuase, when I write kit reviews, I can tell which are best...(at least from a US point of view): Regards,
Ace Combat Zero
I either use testors or cyanoacrylate glue.
spejic
Forgiving is the opposite of fast. The citrus based ones will have the least squeezing out, the least deformation of thin parts, and the fewest accidental fingerprints stuck in the plastic.
bikerider
Interesting thread... I've tied a few different types and Tamiya extra thin is my favourite. But my wife hates the smell. I didn't like Tenax when I tried using it on small parts but it was really good on large seams that I could access from the inside of the two parts. Can I ask 1) which are the citrus based glues referenced above? 2) which is least smelly? Thanks
Flying Pancake
Mr Cement S is my go to. Tamiya Extra thin as well. Mr Cement Deluxe/Tamiya Cement have their uses as well. Mr Cement S is the only one that never leaves my desktop though.
viper730
Tamiya Extra thin. I used Tenax one time with disastrous results ...
