TheFlyingDutchman
I enjoyed watching the diorama of the Piper Cub with the pilot and its dog. Very good job! I have a question though. I know the Cub is a very light aircraft, but I doubt the way the pilot lifts the entire tail from a kneeling position, with one hand, seemingly not using any force at all. Is this possible? It gives the diorama a very nice and interesting setting but it also looks kind of strange. Thanks :) greets Jelle http://www.arcair.com/Gal13/12601-12700/gal12628-Piper-Cub-Chen/00.shtm
kg4kpg
I have a friend with a Cub and it took both of us to lift and spin the tail around they way he wanted it so we could move it in place in his hanger. It wasn't real heavy, but I don't think it can be done as pictured. Still a nice looking build though. My friends is an L4 Grasshopper in a similar scheme and a real joy to fly. Jennings
If the wind was blowing hard enough, that would be easy! But he wouldn't be that non-chalant about the situation :)
