Jennings
Why not just buy it from Asia? I got mine weeks and weeks ago, and had it within 10 days of ordering, and at a very reasonable price.
randypandy831
some like to support local hobby shops like me.
jholt
I got mine directly from Korea via eBay. $29 shipped It's a great little kit. I can wait to put my Two Bobs USNTPS stickers on it!
Jennings
some like to support local hobby shops like me. Nice idea, but the closest one to me is better than 4 hours away by car. Those days are quickly drawing to a close.
randypandy831
jennings, no local shops would kill me. Edited November 9, 2013 by randypandy831
Jennings
No it wouldn't. It's a hobby. And at the rate things are going, it *will* happen to you, probably sooner than later...
randypandy831
I would be extremely surprised if my LHS closed it's doors. they have a good amount of traffic. specially with RC and scale models. I don't know that many hobby shops that stock resin,pe,and decals.
Wolfgun33
I would be extremely surprised if my LHS closed it's doors. they have a good amount of traffic. specially with RC and scale models. I don't know that many hobby shops that stock resin,pe,and decals. Well it just happened here. A LHS very close to me that did a brisk RC business up and closed. I never saw that coming at all. Still need to get my T-38.
Jennings
The economics of a brick & mortar hobby shop are simply not there as a long term thing in the US anymore. It's a different story if the owner is using it as a tax write-off for other more successful businesses, but I don't know of any hobby shops where that's the case. 11bee
If you can't find it, just wait a bit for the Trumpeter kit that was just announced.
randypandy831
I doubt the trumpy can touch the wolfpack kit.
Gene K
If you can't find it, just wait a bit for the Trumpeter kit that was just announced. WHAAAAAAAAT????? :huh:/>/>/>/> :woot.gif:/>/>/>/> :rofl:/>/>/> First: As previously pointed out, the Wolfpack Talon is easy to find (for example here).. Second: A Trumpeter T-38 will in no way hold a candle to the Wolfpack kit (going by Past Performance). Gene K
Jennings
I can hardly wait for the botch job that Trumpeter is likely to do on it. Who wants to bet it has F-5B wheels (if not other F-5B parts)??
randypandy831
still haven't seen it in the states. hell taking so long
randypandy831
now at spruebrothers http://store.spruebrothers.com/product_p/wpd10001.htm priced kind of high for a basic kit don't you think? Edited December 9, 2013 by randypandy831
Emvar
$29.99 USD plus shipping from Lucky Model..... Or $51 USD plus shipping from Sprue Bros. $8 bucks cheaper from Lucky with shipping.... which gives me wiggle room for AM Decals from Fundekuls. This one is a no brainer..... Sorry Spue Bros. Cheers Emil
Jennings
I suspect that may be because they had to import them directly. I'm not aware of a US distributor for Wolfpack, which would also explain why nobody else in the US has them. You can get them cheaper than that (including shipping) from Lucky or other HK vendors. randypandy831
exactly, lucky it is.
Vince Maddux
I got mine on Ebay from a retailer in China, I don't think I paid more the 40 bucks for them. I got one a week or so after it came out and I,m waiting for my next one to get here so I can build a Boeing chase plane. :)
