maurizio
Hi there, following the Italian PUMA 4x4 I'm here with the 6X6 version. It iwll be the Italian Military Policemen - Para Regiment(CARABINIERI PARACADUTISTI) version. It is not completely OOB since I've added the EGYS wheels and modified turret. Wheels have some 3D Printing mistakes so I've remade the nuts with stirene rod. Remember that the antislip surface is very light on these APCs. cheers Maurizio Edited November 11, 2013 by maurizio

maurizio
HUmbrol 102 is the green I've used for this kit. I've added some black drops to the 102 base, given the 102 as base and then some drops on humbrol tan for the highlights. Edited February 5, 2014 by maurizio
Tank
Maurizio, Looking good. How did you make the sand bags?
maurizio
Hi Tank, sand bags are made with milliput. I've made some tini sausages of milliput, cut with a blade and made the correct shape of the sand bags on the model. Please note these are the modern type made of plastic not the old canvas type. maurizio
Here are some pics of the finished model. Humbrol 102 is the base color with dark and light shades. I used grey and "buff" Artists' chalks powder for the dust. all the best Maurizio

sharkmouth
Very nice! I have been building mine as a Zombie Killer (just for fun) and swapped the weapons station for a turret. I guess I better get some Egys wheels... where did you buy them from? Regards,
maurizio
Thank you all for your kind words. @sharkmouth: Egys wheels have been given to me by a modeller friend of mine. I don't know where he get them... sorry. Maurizio
