The P-51 was the Airfix Starter kit and thus came with basic decals. I wanted to have a color scheme of blue to contrast with the Red Tails P-51C, and since I didn't have any decals of real birds at hand, I improvised and stenciled out the SO's initials as the markings. Swapped around parts between kits, and used stencils from another Academy Red-Tails kit I had in the stash. The Willy's Jeep that came along with the Academy Kit.
