11bee
Nice video of Boeing's 787-9 display routine, which will be flown at Farnborough this week. Be sure to watch in full screen mode. Boeing is also still making some tweaks to it's new 737MAx. It's now going to stretch it's slow selling 737-7 (the smallest of the family) to allow two extra rows of seating. It seems that this is in response to the new single aisle jets (Canadair, Embrairer E2, Superjet, ect) that are starting to encroach on the 737's (and A320 for that matter) territory. Boeing is also looking to stretch it's new 777X to allow even more seating, in hopes that it would put the final nail in the coffin of the slow selling A380 (also goes without saying that it would finally terminate the even slower selling 747-8 if this happens). http://seekingalpha.com/article/3986206-boeing-777minus-10x-jumbo-killer
11bee
I want a window seat... http://www.traveller.com.au/boeing-skyview-plane-window-the-largest-of-all-time-to-launch-in-2018-gv9n63 On an unrelated note, saw this while passing through Little Rock, AR on Saturday. Looks like United is cutting costs by eliminating touch up paintwork...
jester292
It always was slightly embarrassing as the pilot of an airliner that was missing large patches and areas of paint. But the truth is that if it wasn't important, it wouldn't be painted or touched up until its next scheduled round into maintenance.
