Paul Walker died. When i was 3 and 4, i loved watching fast and the furious, that was my favorite movie when i was a shorty. He was the main character of the movie. BTW he died in a violent car crash **ironic** that is still under investigation.

He was Killed In Action?

How the **** can you lighten up someone's tragic death, show some respect.

Not lighten up in that way, try to keep everyone from feeling sad, because one day, you'll be able to say:

1 Corinthians 15:55-56

King James Version (KJV)

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

That was not what I meant. You can't return this life that was lost. But you can try to cheer everyone up.

What I mean is first off I'm don't get how declaring a person not in the military KIA is injecting a bit of levity into the announcment of the guys death.

And why would you anyway? As I understand it he was basically a good dude. Sure him and his mate were driving like looneys. But two guys are dead, I don't see it as a great time to be making jokes.

Also I'm not entirely sure how your second post relates to the first.

Sorry if I offended you rusty. It was nothing meant to be personal between me and you, me and scotthldr, or me and Paul.

Kids today are lucky - when I was 3, there was nothing to watch except "Mork and Mindy".

Kids today are lucky? No way. We had this growing up...

If you don't know the lyrics to Fall Guy theme, then I don't think we can be friends.

How on earth can some of you take a post about the tragic death of a person and turn it into a trivial summary of shows you watched as kids?

I don't know about the rest, but it seemed to me a way to stop a potential argument about religion. I agree overall though, probably not a great thread for the subject.
