niart17
Hey all, This is a figure sculpt I've been working as gifts for my two sisters. They were both members of a rather unique high school drill team back in the 70's. They were called the kilties and were based on Scottish marching units. This one is going to be a drummer and I'll do another one that isn't. Like my astronaut Alan Bean figure, I started by using a Diamond Select figure as a armature. I'm not totally sold on the job I did for the skirt pleats. What do you guys think? Any critiques and or suggestions are greatly appreciated, I'm very new to figures. Thanks, Bill Edited December 4, 2013 by niart17
niart17
BTW, here is a pic of what their uniforms looked like. Colors are red with white belts and a traditional Scottish red plaid kilt and sash. Not sure how I will do on the plaid pattern but it should be a fun challenge. Thanks again, Bill
