Sauragnmon
Alright... So I have the Hase 00829 F-18E Superhornet kit. I'm getting to the point of payload, and I have a few questions. Let's start with intended role - Long Range Air Superiority Payload, with three tanks and missiles. First - the Fuselage Hardpoints - is the Targetting pod Always carried, and is it always on the Pilot's Right side? Are the hardpoints wired for missile carriage, likely AIM-120? Second - the Outboard Heavy Hardpoints - the Hase kit comes with the twin bomb racks, which have no place on my payload. Are these capable of carrying twin rails, and which rails should I look for? Right now I have this setup in mind: Wingtips - AIM-9 Outboard Wings - AIM-9 Center Wings - AIM-120 (twin rail?) Inner Wings - Gas Bags Outer Fuselage - Missiles? Centerline - Gas Bag That's the idea I have in mind, I'm just trying to figure out how feasible it would look to people. Input appreciated.
