hawkwrench
The Holy bible is wrong. but that's just my opinion, and I don't force it on anyone, and I don't "hate" or those who do or "think they should burn in a fictitious underground world of fire". Wow!!!! Christians who are sincerely born again, don't hate those who choose to engage in immoral behavior, but rather we love them just as much as a moral-living person. It's the behavior they practice that's wrong that we don't like. All the man did was voice the way he was I'm sure brought up and it's turned into a Bible-bashing, Christian-thrashing free for all in the media and everywhere else. You can say what you want about if the Bible is right or wrong, but there are ALOT!!!!!!! of people who know the truth and we also know what the truth does!!!! Tim
sharkmouth
we are journeying together towards a goal of perfection that as humans in this imperfect form will never actually achieve. Yep, that sounds like plastic scale modeling to me! Regards,

Berkut
Where is the freedom of religion and expression? Where exactly was he persecuted for his religion? Freedom of expression =/= freedom from critique. And just because you base your statements on religious grounds, that certainly does not relieve you from critique. He got push-back from the views he expressed, as he should have, and as he should have expected to. Where are our most basic standards and expectations of decency and morals? Well, i could tell where one don't find them. (unless one enjoys slavery, genocide and misogyny)
bugs3144
OK moderator. Time to shut it down. I was simply pointing out how in today's world, expressing your religious beliefs pro or con in the work place can get you fired. No hate or anything was indicated in my original post. If I offended any one, oh well. Go build a model and get over it. Frank ATL
RKic
Phil is entitled to his beliefs, even if I don't agree with him. But still I wonder, how would we be reacting if he made negative comments about blacks, or Asians?
TaiidanTomcat
Go build a model and get over it. Sound advice that could have avoided this whole thread in the first place.
niart17
Phil is entitled to his beliefs, even if I don't agree with him. But still I wonder, how would we be reacting if he made negative comments about blacks, or Asians? But he didn't. that's as arbitrary as saying what if he said he disliked spinach and has no bearing on what he did say. That's the problem, everyone is rushing in to what they thought he said or what he "could have meant", but keep glossing over the whole "We love them all" comment he DID actually make.
