B777_Nihad
Hi All, After a long time continued work on this F-15K tried to be more creative with airbrusing (still learning) to give the panels some dept especially the composite panels I lack airbrush experience but doing the best I can it is still work in progress but would love to finish this plane. Current status of F-15: Thank you for watching. Nihad Edited January 2, 2014 by B777_Nihad
Der Grüne Punkt
Cool project!, I thing you're doing fine with the airbrush, one question, how sure you're about the color of the composite panels?, green look odd to my eye. cheers
B777_Nihad
Thank you From the couple of pictures I could find of this plane in roll-out these colors came pretty close ( I think) Some of the green/yellow panels have a bit of a transparant look to them that is why I thought they are made out of layers of composite and to get those panels look the same is what I am trying to do now. B777_Nihad
Many many many Thanks to you Shawn U made my day/week/month I have bin dreaming of pictures like these I was always missing the left side of the plane or above and bottom shots and u gave me those :D :D :D :D :D :D Couple of pictures I did find were always the same or too small to have a good enough look at the details. Thank you Sharkey and Sernak for the compliments. Nihad
B777_Nihad
Best wishes for 2014 everybody. Had some days off and did alot of work these last few days (doesn't really show when u compare these pictures to previous shots) but most of the work is to prevent overspray to parts that are done. and also applying more details in the paintjob especially from the shots Shawn added from angles I did not have. These pictures shows the detaling added to the airbrake it actually is the eduard made for the monogram kit but adjusted it to fit the revell kit. Overall shot of the F15K at the moment. Got a tip on another dutch forum to add a filter never did that before so to create more dept in the paintjob I tried it and the effect is great. The antennas on top of both tails were already upgraded wolfpack resin parts but one of the 2 probably did not come out of the mould correctly and I could not get it straight enough also the shape was a bitt off so descided to remove them both and replace by 2 metal rods same thickness sharpend acc. pictures. Thank you for watching. Nihad
