Hasegawa F-104G using spare parts to make a CF-104A. The rarely heard of pattern airframe that was used to attempt a world record during Canada s centennial back in 1967. 12700 did not get the strengthening that 12701- 12900 received. The airframe had lengthened shock cones which I did with putty and sand paper. After the record attempt the airframe was donated to the museum in Ottawa where it remains till this day.

I used a aftermarket seat and Belcher bits decals for this minimal scheme.

I like how the RCAF O 700 in silver decals turned out. Those are there to represent the polished off markings to gain just that little bit more speed.
