warthoglvr
Great! Another sheet I didn't know I needed . . . until NOW! I'll be a buyer on this one, for sure!
JackMan
You will release this in 1/72 won't you? You MUST, because... Also, please try to include the other "Bat" hornet shown here: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/45/F-18Ds_VMFA%28AW%29-242_taking_off_from_MCAS_Iwakuni_2010.JPG http://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/images/fotolife/m/mi28/20100505/20100505163831.jpg
Warthog85
1/72 please
KursadA
I need a couple more subjects so I can bundle them all into one 1/72 sheet: these two subjects will be too small to fill a 1/72 sheet that I can sell at my normal price point. Now that I have the legacy F-18 "infrastructure" (base drawings, stencils etc.) I can draw new ones quickly. If you have good suggestions for subjects that have not been done before, please e-mail me and I will consider them.
Viasistina
Think about adding a couple of legacy aggressor birds to this sheet...that might be a good way to test that market. There is a real dearth of available aggressor schemes in 1/72.

achterkirch
Here's my 2 cents. link 1 link 2 link 3 1st is from VMFA(AW)-242 2nd VMFA(AW)-121 the most attractive one in my opinion (in its 2009 scheme) 3rd is from the U.S navy's test pilot school in overall white with a orange strip going down each side. KursadA
Hi Kursad - any update on the release of this sheet? I would really like to do the VMFAT-101 jet thanks Hi Ken, I had to delay this a bit due to questions about some details of the VMFA(AW)-242 jet, but these have since been clarified. I will release it at a suitable time this summer. Thanks!
Ken Middleton
Thanks Kursad, look forward to it
Tom G
How about NASA F/A-18 scheme from Armstrong Flight Research Center? I don't believe anyone has done them in 1/72 yet. http://www.thenorthspin.com/photos_people_bill_s/18.jpg Tom Edited August 15, 2014 by Tom G
Bulldog 09
Is this project still in the works? And if so will we see it in 1/32 scale too? Dave Fassett
KursadA
Great job digging this prehistoric thread out - but I canceled this project years ago. It is not on the Web site as a future product. There was not enough interest ; and a lack of references at the time. Things have improved sunce then. I still have the artwork and may revisit the idea at some point in the future. Edited December 10, 2018 by KursadA
Dutch
Pitty this one won't be released. There are several great photos of the VMFAT-101 White jet here featuring Commandant of the Marine Corps , General James F. Amos as the GIB. BTW, the tiny script on & in front of the splitter plate on both sides are the four MoH citations. Edited January 15, 2021 by Dutch
