Lynx Helicopter/ Revell Kit/ 1/32 scale

Recommended Posts

Hi Oliver,

One more super detailed project? And you really want this one to show a crushed thing???

You are a modeling perverse! LOL

Seriously, very nice progress so far.

But still I hope you're gonna change your mind concerning the build. ;)

Cheers and happy modeling!

Alexander

Oliver,

Another fantastic build! Interesting subject matter in that you don't often see models of crashed rotorcraft. But, if anyone can pull this off effectively, it's you! Great start! I will be following along. Your scratchbuilding is just amazing!

Hi Ray

The interior is straight forward build. Few details here and there in the version I am doing.

I planned to detail the flight controls servos above the cabin( whatever it called).

Mason, thanks for the photos.

Update on the Lynx.

Between the last few earthquakes lately here I was able to work on the Lynx.

Removing the seatbelts from the seats was tricky, some of the Eduard phtoetched parts have been made too big, I had to sand and cut in order to have them fit.

Oliver,

Looking great! I love the details as always with your builds. So far it doesn't look very crashed though. Are you going to destroy all that beautuful work later?

Ray

Hi Ray

Most of the crashed stuff is outer skin. I am still trying to work out the wrinkled skin effects but so far I am not really succesfull with it so far.

Hi

Started on the interior painting.

Preshading in flat dark blue instead of black or brown, I want the interior to have a cold feel to it. English Navy helos are kept pretty tight inside so heavy weathering will be kept at a minium.
