is it windy yet?
Here is a Spitfire that I started over three years ago. Well it's almost done, just some more weathering needed on the engine and the wheels. Nothing special about the build, added some wires and plumbing to the engine, and photo etch Rolls Royce logos to the valve covers. Everything went well on the build, but the underside mix turned out to be too dark after weathering, so I put it away for a few years and recently decided to finish it. The kit decals were less than ideal. I not a big fan of Tamiya decals, but normally I can make them work with hot water and Japanese setting solution, however these seemed to be even lower quality than most Tamiya decals, too bad. Some pilots think landing on an aircraft carrier is difficult, well it's tough. But not as tough as the polished granite runways of Italy. Put water on that and it would take you a week to stop.
