Trumpy 1.32 F/A-18F super hornet

You could try a simple sludge wash over them. I use acrylics mixed with water and liquid hand soap. That will probably make you love the gear. I think they look great just need some dirtying up.

RAAF supers are kept very clean.there's very little grime or crap on them, gear included.

I can live with what i have.

The wash adds depth and shadow that a painted scale model itself cant achieve. Highly reccomended.

Now that my man looks awesome. Great job on the weathering. Even if they are washed daily there will still be dirt left over. You Sir have now gone the extra step in modeling. This looks really great. Keep it up and you may surprise yourself with abilities you never knew you had.

thank you kind sir.

Mike, lovely details you're adding to this Super Bug! The great thing is that yer learning a lot in a short time... I would like to suggest Tamiya Fine Surface Primer (White) for painting wheel wells and landing legs. This stuff sprays on super thin right out of the can and has great coverage! I personally decant and spray with my AB, but it's not truly necessary. Again great work so far and looking forward to more updates.
